Miracle? is what the people want, that's why they have a big devotion to the black nazarene despite of the many people they will encounter in the feast.. Even they lives will suffer.. But for the sake of their religious belief they do it..
But still do you believe in miracle? a miracle that will sacrifice your life? That's how filipino take the risk for the sake of faith!And I'm very proud of being Filipino!

Miracles are to be believed in. But in the life of Jesus, miracles are performed so that they would be brought closer to Him... Siguro, it is in their faith, in what they believe in. Nevertheless, God will not love you any less just because you don't have this devotion. St. Therese said na everybody can be a saint in their own way, no matter how big or small. In other words... There are many roads going to God.
About our being Pinoy, it is cultural trait to being able to die for something, or for what we believe in... Pinoy = lover even to sacrifice.
